DataGen's health information (HI) professionals are super!

Every accurate report, clean submission and compliant dataset starts with people who know the details and care about getting them right. At DataGen, that expertise lies within a team that works behind the scenes to keep health information flowing, validated and actionable.

From supporting complex, HIM coding needs to navigating the nuances of Statewide Planning and Research Cooperative System (SPARCS) submissions through UDS (UIS Data System™), these specialists play a critical role in helping organizations stay compliant, efficient and confident in their data. Their day-to-day work may not always be visible, but its impact is felt across operations, reporting and patient care insights.

HIP Week gives us the opportunity to highlight the individuals who make that impact possible: those who solve problems quickly, simplify complexity and consistently raise the bar for accuracy and service.

This HIP Week 2026, we’re celebrating our current and years past experts behind DataGen. The people who power our solutions and support your success every step of the way.

This year we’re excited to recognize Dawson Geist, technical support specialist, DataGen.

Read on to learn more about Geist’s contributions and the high standards he brings to supporting our clients, along with a look back at our 2025 and 2024 honorees.
